PSK Group (London) are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join our team of construction professionals.

Who we are

PSK Group is a highly regarded building development company, managing various scale building and development projects in London. PSK is run by a team of construction professionals, with skilled and experienced craftsmen working hard to complete all work to a very high standard.

What you'll be doing

The Site Manager will be responsible for managing and organising works on site, managing the direct labour force and controlling sub-contractors, reporting to the Project Manager & Company Directors.

You will also be involved with quality control of the project and maximising the effectiveness and efficiency of operations. You will need to have good communication skills, to deal with clients, operatives, business partners (architects / designers / surveyors / inspectors) & our management team.


  1. Manage a team of Site Supervisors/Operatives/sub-contractors to ensure compliance and standards across the division
  2. Delivery of a contract to the agreed programme. 
  3. Take a pro-active role in dealing with relevant sub-contractors on site.
  4. Lead the site planning process.
  5. Determine resource levels for the contract in consultation with the Project Manager.
  6. Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
  7. Identify and manage competence of the team to determine any shortcomings, ensuring delivery of the contract.
  8. Ensure health & safety standards are never compromised and that processes and documentation are regularly reviewed and maintained.
  9. Lead the team by example, promoting values and development opportunities.

Who we're looking for

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Experience of working on a range of refurbishment / new build projects up to £1million.
  • Practical experience in this type of management position. 
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Be organised, motivated and have strong planning skills.
  • Proven people leadership skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Degree in Construction related subject (not essential)
  • Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (eg SSSTS / IOSH Working Safely / 1st Aid at Works)
